To that end, I flashed the driver to latest Anduril 2. The metal switch, as noted elsewhere, is horrible to press so I replaced it with a spare Mateminco rubber switch cover.
After a scare where I thought I bricked the light during flashing, I managed to save it and started to reflow…
I mixed an even number of rosy FFL351A 4000k and neutral 5000k hoping to land somewhere in the middle of both. That more or less happened, about 4400k. I also scavenged a spare green AR lens from a Convoy light to replace the purple AR lens that came with it. The result seems a vast improvement over the stock super green SFQ43.
Not sure about lumens on turbo, but it seems to get results between my FF E12R with FFL351A and my Amutorch DM80 with FF707A… Best guess is around 15K rosy lumens?
On the plus side, the 18x TIR optic is nicely throwy with these LEDs, so the throw beats out my FF E12R quite handily.
I tried to take a mixture of turbo shots and greenery shots outdoors to test it out.
