I saw a post a month or so ago about how one of their most used items is a [folding pocketable bag](https://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00mPJRMGDUgLoY/Carry-Small-Foldable-Pocket-Tote-Polyester-Reusable-Folding-Shopping-Bag.webp) and it made me curious since I had a spare back pocket (and for those worried about chiropractic issues sitting on things this is a non-issue so rejoice). I ordered one on AliExpress for less than 2 dollars and I have to say I have used it so many times, I see it as an essential need now whenever you just need to hold extra things without taking up space. Used a generic pic but these things are awesome and felt it was good enough to make a post about.

Nice. I can see that being useful.
It might be a bit overly conspicuous or “military” looking, but something that’s intrigued me is the Maxpedition Rollypoly pouches. They hook to your belt and roll up into a compact package, but when you need it, just unclip it, and it’ll hang right there off your belt without needing to occupy one of your hands.
EDIT:
Well.. You could probably rig it to hang off a belt… It looks like it’s got molle webbing on the back, so you’d have to get some kind of belt loop to interface with that…
Or just keep doing what you’re doing with the folding pocketable bag.
Yep. I bought a bunch 6-7 yrs ago bc I had credit with a website. They’re great. I always have a couple in my jacket pocket.
I love these things. I have them in all my bags, glove compartments, etc.
I am also one of those who carries bags and also always regret it when don’t.
