I stained my blade at work with a 10% sulfuric acid solution and figured I should take it all the way. I’m pretty happy with how this came out. This was about 40 minutes in the acid and being brushed off every 5-10 minutes. I gave the blade a brief stone tumble which consisted of shaking it in a bag with marble stones and soapy water for a few minutes. Man the way the color darkened after oiling the blade was crazy to see. You could see the steel sucking up the oil (pause)
