I enjoy gear maintenance. Chill…listen to some tunes or a podcast. No rush. Enjoy the process. I’m still new to knife sharpening and tend to be very conservative. I cut paper near the end as a barometer. I probably cut way to many pieces because it’s SOOO satisfying. 🥹

Second on the paper cutting. I have a paper shredder, but it doesn’t get much use as long as I’m keeping up on the knives around the house.
