For context, I had two Buck 112 slim selects. My edc knife was black and my hunting knife, orange. The action felt less snappy on my black knife so I bought a new one. Now that I’m home I realize that the new one has the more exaggerated clip-point blade shape from the 112 ranger and says 112+ instead of 112z. Is this a factory mix-up, is it a better blade?

The markings after the number notate the year of manufacture. You can look at this link for more information directly from Buck!
The “Z” is a 2024 and the other isn’t a “+” but looks to be a slightly different; maybe 2022?
