1. Emitter: 1x Luminus SFT40 LED 5000K
2. Switch Type: One Tactical Tail Switch and one Tail Rotary Switch

I have carried one of these in a pocket on my carpenter blue jeans a lot. I really like the rotary switch to select the flashlight mode. The tail switch is easy to access to adjust common flashlight features.

Overall, I like this flashlight a lot. That being said, the supplied battery was pretty weak and had a short service life but, I can’t really fault Wurkkos for this in a flashlight at this price point considering a Molicel or Samsung battery is \~50% of the total cost of the light in today’s market. I also had it inadvertently turn on when the rotary was rotated unexpectedly in a pocket, generally a non-issue in practical terms due to low power levels but, this also flattened the battery a couple of times.

In terms of light performance in general terms, it’s SFT-40 and reflector perform consistently with many of the 18650 based “skinny’ flashlights from Wurkkos, Sofirn, or Convoy in the $20\~$30 price range.

What it offers over many similar flashlights at a similar price point is the high quality fit and finish and excellent action of the rotary and tail switch along with a great overall function.

If I had a reason to place an order with Wurkkos today, I would buy some of these to gift out to family members. The FC-11 and FC-12 are popular picks for this type of situation but, if a slightly larger flashlight is desired (thinking of older people with arthritic hands) for various reasons, this one will be easier to hold and manipulate and its UI is dead simple for people that are not flashlight fanatics like most users in this forum.
