So on SALE this knife is $120. I know it’s a popular knife/company but D2 and grivory for over $100 feels like a scam. I know ppl shat on BM when the Bugout out came out because of the scales (granted thinner so easier to bend) but I haven’t seen anyone complain about the materials vs. price on this one. ESPECIALLY because how often I hear ppl hating on D2 for even budget knives. I don’t get it.

That one is for suckers. They had the 20CV/G10 for like $120-130 sale for a while.

If you haven’t heard people complaining then you haven’t paid attention. Everyone thinks the prices on those models are overpriced.

I think the issue is more-so that Demko is a smaller company and they aren’t manufacturing gigantic numbers of knives. Plus, they want to stand as a “premium” brand. So small batches and premium branding = high manufacturing costs + premium pricing. All of that adds up to pricing that seems out of step with some other brands.

That’s just how it is. Stuff is expensive sometimes. People will either buy it, or they won’t.

anyone complaining about D2 at any price point below like 200 is a moron. it’s a great steel and it’s good that budget brands are using it more frequently

but yeah demko pricing is kinda steep
