For those who carry a handheld, the Playdate definitely deserves a look. It’s the size of a book of post-it notes and is super high quality. It feels good to hold, the button clicks are all satisfying, and the crank is smooth. Anybody can make games for it and the community is pretty active. So far I’m loving it. Who’s had one at launch and do you still carry it?

  2. I’ve had mine since launch but it’s still unused in the box. Oy.

What game is that on the last picture?

The design is neat but for half that price you can get a much more powerful handheld. The indie vibe is cool, but there are a good handful of people still pushing SNES and Genesis devkits for hardware and software releases.
