Stripped both screws completely round. Tried everything short of using a torch but figured they were too far gone. Got fed up and dremeled into them but knicked the knife on both scales.
I have access to a 120vdc variable power supply for ano as well as a torch and feric chloride for lighting ano. Can stonewash sand and polish. My issue is I don’t know what would look the best and I don’t want to do it twice.
I’m thinking sand the Knicks down as much as possible without messing up the rest of scales, mirror polish and then lighting ano both scales. Hoping the business of the ano detracts from the cuts in the scales.
Open to any and all constructive ideas. Feel free to tell me how much benchmade sucks, I just won’t read those ones.

Just carry it all the time. You’ll drop it a few times, add a few more chips, and stop caring.
Honestly it’s likely you won’t be able to hide it nicely. I’d just turn it into a user at this point if I were you
