Went in to Laguiole en Aubrac in Paris today. Had never heard of this make. Similar mechanism to Opinel but does not lock when closed. Knurled brass lock. Wood handle is I believe walnut with a lovely matte finish. There is even a brass insert running through the leather string hole. 33 euros!
