Looking for decent value abrasive plates for a cheap jig, but there are so many options. Suggestions?

I really feel like I only need 3 cutting plates, a nice “finishing” plate, then something to strop with. I can’t find any straight forward kits like that though. Stone or diamond? Ceramic? Grit galore! Just too many options when I want a simple system. Suggestions would be awesome
