I picked up this older but never used CRKT M16-14Z and while it feels of appropriate quality, there are two things that have me concerned. 1) the pocket clip mounting position is recessed and I can’t find any images online of them being recessed – they all appear flush or surface mount. 2) there’s no way to flip the pocket clip to the alternate end and I’ve also seen none that don’t have this ability. Seller said it was around 15 years old so I’m just trying to be sure it’s real. Thanks In advance.

No, it’s real. I have one almost identical to it. It’s one of my favorite knives to carry.
Yeah I’ve got an 03Z from about the same age. It doesn’t have a reversible clip either.
