I recently bought a Wurkkos FC11 with a Nichia 519a 5000K. I really like the light, but I’m perceiving a greenish tint in the corona surrounding the hotspot. I’ll try to take my own beam shot, but in the meantime I found this shot taken by someone else that matches my experience (ignore the Samsung, that’s like a prairie as expected, but even the Nichia has a greenish corona): [https://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/media/fc11-519a-5000k-vs-fc11-lh351d-5000k-tint-shot-c-jpg.36800/full](https://www.taschenlampen-forum.de/media/fc11-519a-5000k-vs-fc11-lh351d-5000k-tint-shot-c-jpg.36800/full)

I do understand that dedoming will reduce this, but that comes with other undesirables so I’m not interested in dedoming at the moment.

I am, however, interested in understanding why it’s happening. Is it:

1. a bad 519a bin?
2. a bad optical design (reflector/AR lens) in the FC11?
3. par for the course for a 519a 5000K?
4. an optical illusion, i.e., it’s not really green but is perceived that way due to a magenta shift in the hotspot and spill?

Thanks!
