I attached another carry handle at the bottom to the daisy chain, and also swapped out the all black zipper pulls for a colored system so I could tell which zipper I was grabbing from a top-down viewpoint/in dim lighting. I was also able build out a boo-boo pouch with an Alpaka Pencil Case Pro that fits perfectly in the sausage pocket with the red zipper.
I am an environmental scientist and travel extensively for work, most of the times to some fairly rugged places and via very abrasive modes of transportation, so I needed a bag that I could truly put through everything. I tried a dozen other bags/manufacturers and couldn’t find one that worked for me AND that didn’t look like I got out of the military yesterday. I’ve put this bag through an inaugural trip alreadt and it kicked ass, so I’m very excited to see how it plays out in the long run!
