My dad has had this maglite since he was a kid. It’s a 2-cell. He wants to replace it, preferably with an LED, but still with “all the same bonking abilities.” Is the company still reputable?

Maglite makes pretty good clubs that have a mediocre light attached to the front.

I own both.

maglite ml300lx led there is a 3 cell and 2 cell version they are around 500-600 lumens.
