I have a d25a ti I bought about seven years ago that I still use all of the time. the emitter is very cool like 6000k but I still find myself using it. I have an old bunch of eneloop double a’s that keep the light shining. just a good aa/14500 light.

I literally just saw your post from r/EDC.
What are you looking for in a light? Size? Side switch or tail switch? Throw or flood? Integrated charging?

i had a d25a that i sold immediately because i hated the UI. great light, it had great tint, but strobe, strobe, strobe, flash, sos, sos, flash, strobe, sos, it was a terrible UI. too bad they are stuck with that UI, they make great lights, but it’s too much with the strobes and flashes…

I just received a D25A (SST-20 4000k) and a D25LC2 (CSLPM1) with a D3A Ti (SFT40) on the way.
I’m impressed at the quality (although they do command a premium relative to the mostly budget lights in my collection). They are lighter than I expected and nice and compact.
The consistent, quick access to turbo / strobe may be important to some people. Blinky modes are accessed by going through the main mode sequence twice. Leaving the light off for a moment lets you avoid the blinky modes. I would prefer a dimmer moonlight mode.
Overall I’m quite impressed. It’s unusual to find an SFT-40 in a 14500 / AA light so I’m looking forward to the D3A. The D25LC2 is quite punchy with the “W2” LED.

I recently picked up the D25A with the CSLPM1 and I like it. The size is fantastic and I think the UI is fine IMO. The modes cycle twice if you want to avoid the strobes by clicking f and back on. It’s the optimal AA/14500 size IMO. Even though small lights like the TS10 and SP10pro are quite small, the smaller diameter is noticeable in the D25A. If I was going to buy again, I’d probably get the D3A with the SFT40.
