You mean now you can experiment with cool custom regrinds

Grind that tip down and you’ll have a great user again… But also you should but a new knife anyway, just to be thorough 👍

Sent it in and get a reblade. I think it’s $10

Round that broken tip out and now you’ve got a rescue knife.

Looks like you should have bought a pry tool as well.

Harbor Freight has 1″x30″ belt grinders for around 50-60$. A few levels of abrasive belts will set you back another 15-20$. I used one for over a year to make some decent blades.
Hand files are a lot cheaper, but you probably wouldn’t need to redo a heat treatment (though if you are careful grinding you wouldn’t need to redo a heat treat).
Give that bad boy a reprofile! Then show us the results, and then welcome to the world of bladesmithing!

You did this on purpose didn’t you?

New blade is super cheap if you mail it in.
They have fantastic customer service.
I asked them to sharpen up a broken tip and they gave me a new blade.
