You mean now you can experiment with cool custom regrinds

Grind that tip down and you’ll have a great user again… But also you should but a new knife anyway, just to be thorough 👍

Significant other: But you have 6 others in the drawer.

Sent it in and get a reblade. I think it’s $10

Round that broken tip out and now you’ve got a rescue knife.

Looks like you should have bought a pry tool as well.

  7. Harbor Freight has 1″x30″ belt grinders for around 50-60$. A few levels of abrasive belts will set you back another 15-20$. I used one for over a year to make some decent blades.

Hand files are a lot cheaper, but you probably wouldn’t need to redo a heat treatment (though if you are careful grinding you wouldn’t need to redo a heat treat).

Give that bad boy a reprofile! Then show us the results, and then welcome to the world of bladesmithing!

New blade is super cheap if you mail it in.

    They have fantastic customer service.

I asked them to sharpen up a broken tip and they gave me a new blade.
